This course will explore the fundamental principles and techniques of Single Lens Reflex (SLR) photography. Topics will include camera controls, exposure, light metering, films, lenses, composition and visual concepts. Students will also be given a brief introduction to digitally editing their photographs using Adobe Photoshop. Students must provide their own SLR camera and should bring it to the first class meeting.
